Langtang Valley Trek 10 Days

Langtang, the nearest trekking region from Kathmandu to see the snowcapped mountains plus to explore cultural wonders which looks similar to Tibetan culture. During the Langtang valley trek one can collect the stunning views of the Himalayas including LangtangLirung (7,200m.), Ganesh Himal (7,600m), Langtang II (7,227m) neighboring peaks of Langtang Region. 
The 6 Days Langtang trek is the perfect trekking for travelers having short vacation. This trekking is also widely popular of Glacier trek.During the visit of Langtang National Park, one can also observe some of the endangered wild animals including, snow leopard and the cute Red Panda.
Best seasons for Langtang Valley Trekking are spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November).

 

Day 1: Kathmandu arrival, transfer to hotel:Upon your arrival at Kathmandu Airport, one of our representative will welcome you and will transfer you to the hotel. Get refreshed on the free time. Overnight.
Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sight Seeing:Full day Kathmandu valley sightseeing is dedicated to explore the four of the UNESCO World Heritage Listed sites of Kathmandu including Soyambhunath, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Enjoy exploring the city of temples. Overnight. 
Day 3: Drive to Syabrubesi by bus/jeep (1550 m/8-9 hrs.):Take a drive to Syabrubesi through Trishuli Bazar. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2480 m. / 6 hours): The trail from Syabrubesi first cross the LangtangKhola then enters into the dense forest of rhododendron and oaks. We then cross short but many suspension bridges to reach Lama Hotel for overnight. Overnight at Lama Hotel.

Day 5: Lama Hotel to Langtang(3430 m./6-7 hrs): Follow the west bank ofLangtangKhola then hike up to Ghoratabela- a Yak grazing land and then gradually trek to Langtang Valley which offers stunning views Langtang II (6561 meters), LangtangLirung (7225 meters), Kimshung (6745 meters),Naya Kang (5844 meters). Overnight. 
Day 6: Langtang to KanyanjngGompa (3850m./3-4 hrs): From Langtang the trail follows the sandy bank of LangtangKhola then passes several Yak pastures and wooden bridges before reaching KyanjinGompa. At Kyanjingompa, we can enjoy viewing the stunning mountains views, roaring glaciers, many icefalls and will also get chance to taste Yak cheese and curd. Overnight at KyanjinGompa.
Day 7: Visit to Tserko Ri and Trek back to Lama Hotel (6 hours): Hike up tpTserko Ri for amazing views of ofLangtangLirung, Langtang Range, Kinshung, YansaTsenji and the foot of the huge Lirung glacier. After breakfast trek back to Lama Hotel. Overnight.
Day 8:  Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi(5 hours):Descend down trail through lush green vegetation and reach to Syabrubesi. Overnight.
Day 9: Drive back from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu (9 hours): Drive back to Kathmandu. In Kathmandu you will have time for some last minute shopping. Overnight.
Day 10: Fly back home: You will be transfer to Kathmandu airport to catch your returning flight back to home. Hope to see you again in Nepal
