Chitwan National Park

Chitwan National Park, the most loved jungle safari destination in Nepal. Located in Terai region- a subtropical southern part of Nepal is the home for wildlife. 68 species of mammals, 126 species of fishes and 544 species of birds has made Chitwan National Park their home. One-horned rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger, Dolphins and Gharial “Crocodile” are the some of the endangered species that can be found in Chitwan National Park.
Tharu Cultural program is another tick of the Chitwan Jungle Safari tour. Plus canoeing, visiting the elephant breeding center and the short jungle walk adds the excitement on the trip.

Outline Itinerary: 

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu: 
Day 2: Drive to Chitwan (5 hours) and transfer to the hotel: 
Day 3: Explore Chitwan National Park: 
Day 4: Bird watching and drive to next destination:

 

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu:
Upon your arrival at Kathmandu Airport one of our representative will pick you from the airport and will transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.


Day 2: Drive to Chitwan (5 hours) and transfer to the hotel:
Take a scenic drive through Trishuli river bank to Chitwan. Upon you arrive in Chitwan, our representative will welcome you and will transfer to the hotel. In the evening you can enjoy a Tharu Cultural program with delicious dinner. Overnight. 

Day 3: Explore Chitwan National Park:
Elephant back safari into the dense forest of Chitwan National Park to explore flora and faunas, visit of Elephant breeding center, jungle walk, canoeing on Budhi Rapti river are the programs of the day. If you are interested for the elephant bathing then you can go with it. Overnight.

Day 4: Bird watching and drive to next destination:
Early morning go for the bird watching. After breakfast catch your bus for the next destination, which might be either Kathmandu or Pokhara.
