Ghorepani poonhill Trekking 9 Days

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek 4 Days is levelled as the short and easy trekking in Nepal.  Widely famous as Annapurna Skyline trekking, Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek can be done either for four days or five days from Pokhara. 
During the panoramic trek of Ghorepani, trekkers can collect awe-inspiring views of mountains of Annapurna including Gangapurna, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Dhaulagiri, Himchuli and more. Poon Hill (3210m.) is the major highlight of the trekking from where one see the picturesque views of mountains and stunning sunrise.
Best time for Ghorepani Poon Hill trekking is Spring (March-April) and Autumn (September-November).

 

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel (1334m):Upon your arrival at Kathmandu Airport, one of our representative will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel. Get refreshed of jetlag on free time.  Overnight.
Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing: A full day sightseeing of Kathmandu valley is focused to introduce some of the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Sites including, Soyambhunath-“The Monkey Temple”, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and ancient Kathmandu Durbar Square.  Evening will be for trek briefing. Overnight.
Day 3: Drive to Pokhara(820m/6-7 hours drive): Take a scenic drive to Pokhara through the green hills passing several small villages and some Bazar to wonderful Pokhara city. In Pokhara you can walk around the Lake in free time. Overnight.
Day 4: Drive to Nayapul(1.5 hours drive) and Trek to Ulleri (1,960m/5-6 hrs trek): First take a short drive to Nayapul. Then trek slowly through the stone paved way up to Ulleri. One the way to Ulleri you can collect the first glimpse of Annapurna South. Overnight.
Day 5: Trek to Ghorepani (2860m./6/7 hours trek): A long day. From Ulleri the trail ascent up through the dense rhododendron forest. Trekking this route becomes even wonderful during spring as the rhododendron blooms around. From the teahouse in Ghorepani, you can collect the mesmerizing views of the mountains. Overnight.
Day 6: Visit Poon Hill (3210m./1 hr) and Trek to Ghandruk (1940m/6-7hrs): Wake early morning and hike up to Poon Hill to collect the stunning view of sunrise in the mountains. After collecting the sunrise view, get back to Ghorepani for the breakfast and then start the walk to Ghandruk. On way to Ghandruk, the wonderful views of mountains keep following. 
Day 7: Trek back to Nayapul (4 hrs trek) and Drive back to Pokhara (1.5 hrs): From Ghandruk we take descend trail and reach Nayapul where our transport awaits. From there we will drive back to Pokhara. In free time we can explore Pokhara city. Overnight. 
Day 8: Drive (6 hours)/Fly (30 minutes) back to Kathmandu: We can either travel back to Kathmandu by overland or can take a 30 minutes spectacular flight. Do some  last minute shopping in free time.
Day 9: Fly Back home: Our representative will accompany you to Tribhuvan International Airport to catch your returning flight back home. We hope to see you again in Nepal

  • Teahouse accommodation during the trek
