Kanchenjunga Circuit Trekking 27 Days

A trekking into the foothill of the 3rd highest mountain in the world, Kanchenjunga circuit trekking is one of the finest trekking in Nepal. One of the restricted area trekking in Nepal where trekkers are requested to issue the special permit and to be accompany by a local trekking guide.
Wonderful Kanchenjunga Trekking offers to explore the natural and cultural wonders of the Kanchenjunga region as it goes to the border of Sikkim and Tibet. This trekking route is one of the less visited trekking route of Nepal where one can get the chance to see the untouched and unspoiled natural and cultural wonders.
Best seasons for trekking in Kanchenjunga are spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November).

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel (1334 m):  Upon your arrival in Kathmandu airport, one of our representative will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel. Get refreshed on the free time. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing:  Kathmandu Valley sightseeing is dedicated to explore some of the UNESCO World Heritage Listed sites in Kathmandu including Soyambhunath, Pashupatinath,Boudhanath and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Biratnagar (81 m) and Drive to Phidim (1,179m): First take a flight to Biratnagar. From there you will drive further to Phidim with a private vehicle. Overnight at teahouse.
Day 4: Drive to Suketar (2,420 m): After the early breakfast  you will be driving to Suketar where you experience different driving experience as the roads in Nepal are narrow and bumpy same time. Actually, the drive itself will be an adventurous one.
Day 5: Trek to Mitlung (921 m/ 4-5 hrs):Take early breakfast, then start your trekking to Mitlung. You will cross some wonderful settlement along the way to Mitlung. Overnight at teahouse.
Day 6::Mitlung to Chirwa (1,270 m/5-6 hrs): We will take early breakfast, after that with some ups and downs you will first trek to Sinwa. The trail from Sinwa descends to Tawa. From Tawa you will ascent trail to reach Chirwa for overnight. Overnight at Chirwa. 
Day 7: Chirwa to Sukathum (1,576 m/5-6 hrs): Trek through denseforest , with some uphill and downhill along withTamor river and eventually reach to Sukatham. Overnight at Sukathum. 
Day 8: Sukathum to Amjilosa (2,308 m /6-7 hrs): The trail from Sukathum first cross the suspension bridge. Then walk through the dense forest to Amjilosa. Overnigh at teahouse.
Day 9: Trek to Gyabla (2,730 m/ 6-7 hrs): From Amjilosa the route goes through dense forest and then it ascends and descends to take us Gyabala, which is a Tibetan settlement. Overnight at teahouse.
Day 10: Gyabla to Ghunsa (3,595 m/5-6 hrs):  First trek to  Phale. Phale is a Tibetan refugee settlement and a small market for handicrafts. From Phale, trek through forest and reach Ghunsa for overnight.
Day 11: Rest day at Ghunsa: Free day. Go for a short trekking to Laspan La monastery. Enjoy your free day. Overnight at Ghunsa.
Day 12: Trek to Kambachen (4,050 m/5-6 hrs) : Trek through rhododendron and pine forest. A challenging yet equally wonderful mountain walking experience to Kambachen. Along the way you will be greeted by the picturesque views of the mountains.
Day 13: Acclimatization Day at Kambachen: An extra day . Enjoy exploring the wonderful village. Overnight at teahouse.
Day 14: Kambachen to Lhonak (4,780 m/6-7 hrs): First trek through challenging rocky field. Then cross the suspension bridge and reach Ramtang monastery, take some time to explore around. Then take a descending trail  toLhonak for overnight. 
Day 15: Trek to Pangpema/Kanchenjunga North Base Camp (5,388 m/6-7 hrs): Trek through a difficult sections to Pangpema, then climb up where you can get collect the magnificent views Mount Kanchenjunga, Chang Himal and Jannu. Enjoy the views. Overnight at teahouse.
Day 16: Trek back to Kambachen (4,050 m/6-7 hrs): Take the same way back to Kambachen. Overnight at teahouse.
Day 17: Kambachen to Ghunsa (3,595 m/3-4 hrs): The trail from Kambachen descends through forests. On the way back we can also enjoy wonderful mountain views. Overnight at Ghunsa.
Day 18: Ghunsa to Sele Le (4,290 m/6-7 hrs): The trail to Sele Le is steep. Take slowly to get to Sele for the overnight. Overnight at teahouse.
Day 19: SeleLe to Cheram (3,870 m/ 6-7 hrs): Get ready for a tough day.You will be passing several pass including. Mirgin La, Sinon La and Sinepache.After a tough day take a good rest at Cheram. Overnight at teahouse.
Day 20: Cheram to Ramche (4,580 m) and trek back to Cheram( 4-5 hrs trek): The trail first passes the Yamlung glacier then pass Laspang village to reach Ramche. Further walk to the southern face of the Kanchenjunga and a little up to Oktang Monastery place, which also offers the superb views of JannuHimal. Then trek further to Cheram for overnight. Overnight at teahouse. 
Day 21: Cheram to Tortong (2,995 m/5-6 hrs):  The trail from Cheram to Tortong is all the way down through rhododendron forest. Enjoy walking on the virgin trails. Overnight in Tortong.  
Day 22: Tortong to Yamphudin (2,080 m/ 6-7 hrs): From Tortong we will take descend trail and which will ultimately lead us to Yamphudin Village. Enjoy the wonderful village in the free time. Overnight at teahouse.
Day 23: Yamphudin to Yangpang (1,007 m/ 6-7 hrs): Pass several small streams and wonderful settlements and Mamankhe village is the pick of the day where you can find Limbu museum and cultural center. Overnight at teahouse.
Day 24: Yangpang to Thorpu (1,500 m/5-6 hrs): Pass several small yet wonderful villages along the way where interaction with the locals makes the trek absolutely amazing. Overnight at Thorpu.
Day 25: Thorpu to Birtamod (300 m/ 5-6 hrs):Take a drive to Birtamod from Thorpu. As always the drive will be an adventurous one. Overnight at teahouse.
Day 26: Drive to Bhadrapur and fly back to Kathmandu:First take drive back to Bhadrapur. From Bhadrapur, fly back to Kathmandu. In Kathmandu you will have free time to do some last minute shopping. Overnight at hotel.
Day 27: Fly back home: One of our representative will transfer you to Kathmandu airport to catch you returning flight back to home. We hope to see you in Nepal again.
