Trekking Seasons in Nepal
Generally there are two best trekking seasons in Nepal one is after monsoon and next after the winter. Autumn (September-November)
This is the best trekking season to trek in Nepal. In this time period the weather is clear which offers the stunning views of mountains. This is also the best season for climbing peaks.
Winter (December- February)
December, January and February months are winter in Nepal. So this season does not offers too many trekking in higher elevations. Despite that trekking in lower elevation can be made.
Spring (March-May)
March, April and May are included in spring season and assumed as the best trekking season trekking in Nepal. This is the season which offers the fabulous blossoming rhododendrons above 3000m and also offers the magnificent views of snowcapped mountains of Himalayan kingdom.
Summer (June-August)
This is the monsoon time in Nepal which makes trekking uncomfortable. But even in monsoon season trekking can be made in some of the desert parts of Nepal which includes Mustang, Nar-Phu Valley and Dolpo regions
