Overview

Mera Peak, simply one of the best climbing peak in Nepal. Mera Peak is a trekking peak in Nepal and also levelled as one of the easiest climbing peak in Nepal. Located in the Khumbu trekking region, it is more than a peak climbing. One can experience a trekking and amazing peak climbing within a single trip.
As Mera is not a tough climbing peak, climbers with sound body and health can go for the peak. The best season for Mera Peak Climbing are Spring (March- May) and Autumn (mid-September to November).

Itinerary

Day 1-Kathmandu.(1334m.)-Upon your arrival in Kathmandu International Airport, one of our representative will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel. Take a good rest in free time. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2-Kathmandu Sightseeing.(1334m.)-A guided half day sightseeing will allows to see some of the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Sites in Kathmandu. After the sightseeing, you can then prepare for the gears. Overnight in hotel.
Day 3 Lukla (2810m./40 minutes flight): Take an early flight back to Lukla. In Lukla, you will meet the remaining crews. You will stay one night in Lukla. Overnight at teahouse.
Day 4-Chutanga.(3430m./3-4 hrs trek): After breakfast, we will officially starts our trekking. From Lukla we will take comparatively less used trail of Everest trekking through dense pine and rhododendron forest to reach Chutanga. This day on the way to Chutanga we will also cross some small streams. Overnight at Chutanga. 
Day 5-Thuli Kharka(4000m./5-6 hrs trek): From Chuntanga, we take ascending trail and cross Kalo Himal ranges in Nau Lekh- border of Khumbu and Hinku valley. From there we will cross a small at ZartwaOg. After the pass, we will take descend trail and will trek to ThuliKharka. Here will make our tented camp for overnight.
Day 6-Mausum Kharka.(3430m.)-  The trail first descent down crossing Hinku valley with viewing south face of Mera. It then goes through rhododendron and pine forest which gradually leads to MausamKharka. Reach MausamKharka set camp for overnight. 
Day 7-Thagnag.(4360m./6-7 hours)-After breakfast, we will resume our trekking. This day we will Follow the west bank of HinkuDrangka and will pass several Kharkas before reaching Gondishung (4,350m). Gondishung is a summer settlement of Tagnag and have 200 years old Gompa. From Gondishung, we will trek to Thagnag for overnight.
Overnight.Day 8- Acclimatization day:  As the altitude rise up this day is for rest. On this day we take walk around Thangnag and explore the stunning surroundings. Peak 43 , SabaiTsho; a glacial lake will the highlight this day. Overnight at camp.

Day 9-Khare.(5000m./3-4 hours)- After spending a wonderful day at Khagnag this day we will trek to Khare. It will be a gentle yet a wonderful trekking day where we will walk with beautiful scenery and also pass some small yet wonderful streams. Overnight at Khare.
Day 10-Rest Day/ Ice Climbing near Khare-An acclimatization day. We can do some ice climbing practices this day or can also hike up to Mera La for wonderful views.Overnight in tented camp. 
 Day 11-Mera High Camp.(5800m./3-4hours)- We take early breakfast and will start our journey to Mera Peak Base Camp. The trail from Khare to Mera High Camp is quite steep and a challenging one as well. Upon we reach high camp we will set up our camp there. In free time we can enjoy the superb views of Makalu, the Mt. Everest, Nuptse, High camp view of Cho oyu and Kanchenjunga. Overnight in tented camp. 
Day 12-Summit Mera (6,476m.) and descend to Khare (5,025m./8-9hours): Day when our dream come true. This day we have to start earlier than usual means we will start climbing around 2-3 am and will be at the top by 6-9am.  From summit we can enjoy the awe inspiring views of Mt. Everest (8,848m), Cho-Oyu (8,210m), Lhotse (8,516m), Makalu (8,463m), Kangchenjunga (8,586m),Barunste (7,129m.), Chamlang (7,319m.) and Nau Lekh (6,360m.). We will spend some time on the top. After then we descend back to High Camp and then all the way back to Khare for overnight. Overnight at Khare..  
Day 13-A spare Summit attempt day- We take one extra day as a spare day for in case we have to postpone our summit attempt because of the bad weather. 
Day 14-Gothey.(3600m/4-5 hours): With enjoying the scenic snowcapped mountains views along the way this day we will trek to Gothey. Overnight at Gothey. 
Day 15-Tuli Kharka.(4250m./5-6 hours): After early breakfast at Gothey, we will take ascending up trail through rhododendron forest to reach ThuliKharka for overnight. Overnight at ThuliKharka.
Day 16-Lukla.(2810m./6-7 hours)-From ThuliKharka we will first ascend to Zatrwa La. From Zatrwa we will descend all the way down to Lukla. In evening we will have dinner with climbing crew. Overnight at Lukla.

Day 17-Kathmandu.(1334m./40 minutes): Early morning we will take a spectacular flight and will back to Kathmandu. In free time we can take rest sometime. After then you can do some gifts shopping. In evening join farewell dinner with Mountain Holiday Team. Overnight at hotel. 
Day 18-Fly back home: A Mountain Holiday representative will accompany you to Tribhuvan International Airport to catch your returning flight back home. We hope to see you again in Nepal.
