In the Annapurna Region the most famous trekking is Annapurna Base Camp trek or ABC in short, the ABC trek starts Kathmandu to Pokhara flight or by a Tourist AC Bus, once reached Pokhara the real adventure begins. A full length trek can be of 13 days, however can be shortened to 10 days if required. Outline Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,334m)
Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing (1,334m.)
Day 3:Drive to Pokhara(820m.)
Day 4: Drive to Nayapul(1.5hours) and trek to Tikhedhunga( 1,577m.)
 Day 5: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2,750m./7-8 hours)
Day 6: Visit Poon Hill (3,210m. / 1 hour walk) and Trek to Tadapani (2,630m. /5-6 hours trek)
Day 7: Tadapani to Chhomrong (2,170m.)
Day 8: Chhomrong to Bamboo (2310m/ 4 - 5 hours)
Day 9: Bamboo to Deurali (3230m/ 4-5 hours)
Day 10: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m/ 5- 6 hours)
Day 11: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo ( 2310m/7 – 8 hours)
Day 12: Trek to Jhinu Danda(1,760m.) from Bamboo
Day 13: Jhinu Danda to Pokhara (820m.)
DAY 14: Drive back Kathmandu (1,334m.)
Day 15: Fly back home

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,334m):
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu Airport, one of our representative will welcome you and will transfer you to the hotel. Take a good rest in free time. Overnight at hotel.


Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing (1,334m.):
A full day Kathmandu valley sightseeing is dedicated to introduce some of the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Sites in Kathmandu which includes, Soyambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath and ancient Kathmandu Durbar Square. Overnight at hotel.


Day 3:Drive to Pokhara(820m.):
After the early breakfast you will a bus to Pokhara. The journey to Pokhara is an amazing as you follow the Trishuli River and pass several small settlements and the Bazar. In Pokhara, you can walk around the wonderful city. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Drive to Nayapul(1.5hours) and trek to Tikhedhunga( 1,577m.):
After the breakfast, first take a drive to Nayapul (1.5 hours). Show your TIMS and Permit Cards in the check post then start your wonderful journey to Tikhedhunga. Overnight at the teahouse.


 Day 5: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2,750m./7-8 hours):
Long yet a wonderful trekking day, as you walk through the dense rhododendron forest. The hiking gets even better if it is Spring as the rhododendron blooms with seven different colors. In Ghorepani, you will be welcomed with the picturesque views of the snowcapped mountains. Overnight at the hotel.


Day 6: Visit Poon Hill (3,210m. / 1 hour walk) and Trek to Tadapani (2,630m. /5-6 hours trek):
Early morning, hike up to Poon Hill to collect the stunning sunrise views the mountains. You will spend around an hour at Poon Hill. Then get back to Ghorepani for the breakfast, after breakfast continue your trekking to Tadapani. Overnight at teahouse.


Day 7: Tadapani to Chhomrong (2,170m.):
The trail from Tadapani ascends through dense rhododendron forest. The amazing views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Fishtail Mountain and Ganggapurna will accompany us along the way. Chommorong is a wonderful Gurung settlement. Overnight at hotel.


Day 8: Chhomrong to Bamboo (2310m/ 4 - 5 hours):  
Descend down trail through stone steps, it the crosses the Chommorong Khola and ascends up to Sinuwa. Then further trekking through the rhododendron forest will take us to Bamboo. Overnight at Bamboo.


Day 9: Bamboo to Deurali (3230m/ 4-5 hours):
Take early breakfast and start the trekking thorough the rhododendron forest. You will pass the Hinku cave along the way to Deurali. Overnight in the teahouse.


Day 10: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m/ 5- 6 hours):  
First trek to Machhapuchre Base Camp where we can get marvelous views of Mt Machhapuchre,, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III,Gangapurna and neighboring mountains. Further trek to Annapurna Base Camp. Overnight in the teahouse.

Day 11: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo ( 2310m/7 – 8 hours):
Wake early morning to collect the first rays of the sun in the Annapurna, after then you will trek back to Bamboo.

Day 12: Trek to Jhinu Danda(1,760m.) from Bamboo:
Retrace back to Chhomorong, from there you will further trek to Jhinu Danda. In Jhinu Danda you can enjoy bathing in natural hot spring. Overnight at teahouse.


Day 13: Jhinu Danda to Pokhara (820m.):
Trek back to Nayapul, then drive back to Pokhara. In Pokhara you can walk around the wonderful city in the free time.


DAY 14: Drive back Kathmandu (1,334m.):
You will drive back to Kathmandu. In Kathmandu you can do some last minute shopping in Thamel. Overnight at hotel 


Day 15: Fly back home:
You will be transfer back to Kathmandu Airport to catch you returning flight back home. We hope to see you again in Nepal.
